Hello,
Last night on TV I saw a programme made by BBC 2005 about the Royal
Palaces - this one about Hampton Court. It showed a family business in
Essex? making bricks by hand using the kind of traditional methods I
have researched in English sources for brickmaking in early colonial
Sydney ie.c1800. This was great to see and really useful as virtually
no hist arch students here know how bricks were made then. Has anybody
made a record film of them? I looked on google images but couldn't
even find any pictures of them.
Thanks,
Annie
