Call for Research Synthesis Proposals: Science in Society – Living With
Environmental Change
The ESRC is pleased to welcome applications to conduct two separate
research syntheses to uncover what current academic and non-academic
literature and reports state about public attitudes to the environment. It is
intended that these syntheses will outline the existing data and highlight the
trends and gaps in knowledge.
Applications can be made for up to £15,000 for each synthesis, with additional
funding available for outputs and dissemination. It is anticipated that each
synthesis will be conducted from a period of 1 April 2009 to 31 July 2009.
The ESRC welcomes applications from researchers, normally located in a Higher
Education Institutes and also from researchers in non-HE institutions, for
example government departments, third sector or consultant based.
Closing date for paper applications is 4pm on 9 February 2009.
