Symposium "Learning by Doing: Experiments and Instruments in the History
of Science Teaching"
The international symposium 'Learning by doing: Experiments and
Instruments in the History of Science Teaching' will take place on 4-5
April 2009 at the University of Regensburg (Ratisbon) in Germany. This
symposium attempts to start the discussion in a field that has
frequently been considered as being relevant in the formation of
scientists, however, has not yet obtained significant scholarly
attention. The 14 papers that will be presented during the symposium
will serve as starting point for a broader discussion. The program as
well as the complete announcement can be found at:
http://www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakultaeten/phil_Fak_I/Philosophie/Wissenschaftsgeschichte/Symposium-Wittje/
There is no participation fee. We ask participants to register until 20
March 2009.
