Colleagues,
Those of you who support learners with dyslexia or other specific learning
difficulties (SpLDs) may find the following short course of interest:
CPD3767: Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) in Higher Education
(Support Issues).
The module is aimed at people who have experience of working in a dyslexia
support context and wish to gain further insights through an exploration of
theory and research around dyslexia that will enhance practice. Although
specifically aimed at participants working in HE, it will be of benefit to
colleagues working in any post-compulsory education context.
The module involves a blend of face-to-face and online sessions, beginning
27th January, 2009.
The cost of the module is £250, but due to the project funding, there are a
number of free places available.
Further information about the module can be found from our marketing leaflet:
http://www.edgehill.ac.uk/reformproject/reformflyer.pdf
We are currently requesting potential participants complete an expression of
interest form, available at http://survey.bris.ac.uk/edgehill/09cpd3767.
