here is the manual for the previous fslvbm version...
GM_mod_merg is a 4D image containing all your modulated GM images concatenated in the alphabetical order. This nomenclature hasn't changed between the versions. John Ashburner refers to it as "absolute amount" or "volume" of GM, whereas unmodulated (hence uninterpretable) images are referred to as GM "concentration" images (cf Good et al., 2001).
