Project Archivist (part time, 2 days per week, two years’ fixed term)
Salary £22,360 pa pro rata
The Courtauld Institute of Art, based at the historic Somerset House in central
London, is a leading educational institution with a world wide reputation.
Established in 1932, its founding vision is still at the heart of the organisation,
where its renowned collections and book and photographic libraries are used in
teaching the history and conservation of art in a welcoming academic
environment.
The Project Archivist will be based in the Witt Library and will be responsible
for cataloguing archive material held within different departments throughout
the Courtauld Institute.
We are seeking a qualified archivist with experience of archive cataloguing
standards, proprietary software for archives and with the ability to
communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels.
