Objet : [ZOOARCH] chicken
Dear list members,
We are searching for zooarchaeolgical references for the presence of chicken (Gallus gallus) remains from the 12 to 6th century BCE. We are investigating chickens from the southern Levant and are interested in hearing of any similar finds, of similar date, specifically from the northern parts of the Near East, Egypt , Mesopotamia and Cyprus. Any help will be welcomed and much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Guy Bar Oz
