(Senior Lecturer Grade 7 role, £33,432 - £38,757 per annum, may be
available dependant on skills and experience)

A journalist with a proven background of both relevant and recent
experience within print journalism and sub editing is required to join
our growing team to teach across a number of journalism degrees. You
should have strong design, page layout and subbing skills in both
newspapers and magazines and be able to use the latest industry
software packages.
You will teach on units relating to desktop publishing and must have
sound knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Quark Xpress
and have strong photoshop and editing skills.
You will have a first degree and preferably teaching experience at
higher education level.
You will be able to communicate effectively and work well within a
team, contributing to new development within the journalism degrees in
the Media Writing Programme Group. You will be well organised and
able to contribute to the effective running of the course.
