When the health care commission come to inspect your hospital they can stop
any member of staff to ask what the 5 moments of care are, and if the staff
member doesn't know we will be in the headlines as a hospital that doesn't
care about cleanliness. The 5 moments of care (can't bear to think who
dreamed that phrase up!) are the 5 stages in any contact with a patient at
which you should wash your hands. My eczema is coming along nicely.

Not here dear, we can't afford the heating.
But the PCT are about to rip out the new carpets they installed in our
Health Centre consulting rooms last year and replace them with hard
washable flooring.
