Indeed, it does cause joint working, as distinct from the usual hanging
back and sniping.
I've seen it rejected by those who would otherwise have the onerous task
of assembling the various suggestions into a final version, giving
appropriate weight to thos ideas they produced, and those others
produced, and those nobody _produced_ but which apparently were givens
from elsewhere, such as the conclusion and recommendation.
Much to be said for wikis, isn't there.
