Anne, if you go onto the Council of Deans of Health website at
http://www.councilofdeans.org.uk/home.aspx and then search for the
document Guidance Notes on Disability Issues in Relation to Healthcare
Education this document will give you the guidance for Nurses, Midwives
and AHP and also give you links to the professional body websites where
more information can be found. Detailed practical guidance is not so
easy to find as the advice is of course to treat each person
individually but I think you might the information useful. Regards
