Dear Amit,
Follow this link to a nice little paper describing exactly this:
http://journals.iucr.org/d/issues/2007/04/00/bw5188/bw5188.pdf
In the hands of D'arcy and colleagues, seed stocks could be frozen at 193 K and withstand multiple freeze/thaw cycles without decreasing their nucleation effect.
HTH,
David

Subject: [ccp4bb] storing crystal seeds
Dear All,
I intend to perform some seeding experiments with my protein. I have prepared the seeds using the seed bead kit from Hampton and was wondering if I could store the seed stock for future experiments. Is that recommended? If yes, then what temperature should I store these at? Also, can the seed stock take multiple(2-3) freeze-thaw cycles?
I would be grateful if anybody could shed light on this.
Many thanks, in advance
