CONTRACT: Statistical SAS Programmer
UK Based - South East
£ Excellent Rate / hour - 6 month rolling contract
Job Summary:
Working for the major International company on their long term projects you will write, test and validate software programs to support the regulatory approval process or non-registrational activities
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Write, test and validate software programs to produce SDF and analysis datasets and TLGs for inclusion within CSRs, ISS / ISE, publications and other communications
* Perform QC checking of software programs written by another programmer
* Understand and execute department-level, program-level and study-level macros and utilities
* Write, test, validate program-level and study-level macros and utilities
* Interface with outsourcing partners and vendors at project level
* Assist with study and systems audits by CQA and external bodies, and respond to audit questions and findings
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of Global Statistical Programming processes and procedures
* Perform such duties as are reasonably requested by line management
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
* Minimum 3 years SAS programming from with the pharmaceutical / CRO industries.
* Statistical Programming using SAS v9.1.3
* Proven SAS programming expertise in the BASE, STAT, GRAPH, Macro and SQL modules
* Working knowledge of current CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM) would be helpful, but not essential
