Learning Development Advisor | £30,718 to £37,758 pro rata (potential for contribution pay up to £39,765 pro rata) | Camberwell/Chelsea/Wimbledon (CCW) Colleges of Art and Design Fixed term contract until August 2010 | 17.5 hours per week
The CCW Academic Development team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Learning Development Advisor who can make a positive contribution to the provision of a wide range of activities aimed at developing innovative approaches to learning and teaching. The post holder will work with the CCW Learning and Teaching Development Co-ordinator to operationalise the UAL Strategy for Student Learning and to raise the profile of e-learning across the colleges. You will also be involved in aspects of staff development, dissemination and contribution to the work of the CCW Learning, Teaching and Assessment Group in achieving its aims.
Being an Academic with a professional teaching qualification (or equivalent), or participating in research into teaching practice in Art and Design, you will work with course teams on implementing developments in learning, teaching and assessment and identifying and sharing innovative practices. An organised problem-solver, you will have knowledge of the debates around learning and teaching in the Creative Arts within Further and/or Higher Education. The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the pedagogic and organisational implications of embedding e-learning.
