Schroedinger Fellowship in Star Formation
Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies
The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, is offering a five year
Schroedinger Fellowship. Areas of interest include outflows from young
stars and brown dwarfs, protostellar disks and the initial mass
function. The institute is a partner in building the Mid-Infrared
Instrument (MIRI) for the James Webb Space Telescope and has recently
become involved in the Gould Belt Survey to be carried out using
Spitzer, Herschel, and the James Clark Maxwell Telescope. While the
postdoctoral fellow is expected to work in the area of observations,
he or she will be encouraged to interact closely with the astrophysical
