Hi Mico,
I agree on Susan's opinion about evertebrates being underrated. As for many years I trained and tested snails and insects, I can highly recommend them. They are excellent learners with success rates of 80-100%. We used them for open days ourselves and visitors could come and train them their selves, induce short or long term memory, they work on rewards rather than punishment, it is easy, cheap, reliable, I do not know where to stop praising them.
