Beacon for Wales Research Associate
Public Relations and Communications
The Beacon for Wales project, is a collaborative partnership of
leading Welsh organisations (Cardiff University, University of
Glamorgan, BBC Wales, Techniquest, and Amgueddfa Cymru - National
Museum Wales), which aims to co-ordinate activities and support
practitioners in public engagement projects and networking events.
We are now seeking an evaluator to work with the Beacon for Wales team
to establish the research programme and baseline research of the
project. You will have a first class or good second class degree in a
relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. Proven ability to
conduct qualitative research studies is essential as is previous
experience in conducting and organising research projects.
Please note that it is intended that this post will be employed by
Cardiff University and primarily located at the University of
Glamorgan.
The Beacon for Wales is funded by HEFCW, RCUK and the Wellcome Trust.
This post is fixed-term until December 2011.
Salary: £29,704 -£35,469 per annum.
