Would members be able to recommend an application to present a programme
incorporating high-definition video, on a large display in a collections
store?
The situation is a performing arts venue, that I am working with, plans
to record about twelve sessions of musicians playing a selection of
instruments from an important historic collection. As well as having the
performances published on-line, possibly through iTunes U, the venue
wants to use these recordings (at full quality) for educational use
within the collections store. They want to do this using a HD display,
probably linked to a PC. Users would be able to select and view
particular performances, view still images of the instruments, and read
some caption type information on the instruments and performances.
The question is what applications might be suitable for this purpose?
The program would have to be easy enough for a reasonably technically
literate user to manipulate. Adobe Presenter offers some functionality
but doesn't seem to allow HD video to be integrated into presentations.
In anticipation, thanks for your help
