Hello Bruce
Yes, simple really, and I should have thought of it earlier, just a long
day and tired brain! One of the best things about these lists is the
support and help offered. Thanks again for the advice, gratefully
received.
Kind regards
Caroline

professionals and librarians)
Hi Caroline and others.
I see someone's now told Caroline that the simplest way to pass on links
which would be too long for email is to use TinyURL. You just go to
http://tinyurl.com/ , paste your long url into the slot provided, and
it
generates a new 25-character url which will take recipients to the page
you want.
In this case, the TinyURL is
http://tinyurl.com/5kea6g
Worth using for other long urls
Bruce

Hello everyone
The link to the survey included in the original message seems to have
gone over 2 lines and doesn't work as a direct link. It does work if you
select it, copy and paste it into a browser window. I shall endeavour to
sort this, if anyone has advice I would be pleased to receive it - end
of the day and I thought this would be quick (I don't often post to
these lists and I am not sure of the best way to do this).
Kind regards
