Have you considered applying for professional roles now that you are qualified? One of the great things about getting a qualification is that it opens doors in terms of the types of job that you are eligible to apply for.
Best Wishes and Good Luck!

Subject: What experience is needed for a Library Assitant beginning charte rship?
Wondering if anyone can help me with this?
I have just recently registered for chartership. I have a professional
qualification (Msc) in Information and Library studies, but I am currently
in a non-professional post (Library Assistant).
I am looking for advice from anyone else who is / has been in a similar
position to me - i.e what sort of experience do I need to focus on in my
PPDP and year of experience? my position does not cover the type of work
that professional librarians would undertake as such, however my manager is
willing to help me gain experience / training etc.
I'd be glad to hear from anyone else who is in a similar position, and
would be very grateful for any advice and suggestions.
