Thanks. I've just googled some on this and am none the wiser. If you put
BadIDChoice invalid resource ID chosen for this connection X_CreateWindow
you only get five hits, one of which is in Turkish. And leaving out the
X_CreateWindow you get a lot of hits but nothing that informative (that I
have come across yet). It sounds like either an X bug (so way down in the
code) or a Tk bug (so slightly higher up). But I guess it's possible it's
our code at fault somehow.
