In this Defence Technology Centre (DTC) project funded by BAe Systems
you will contribute to the design of generic robust modelling framework,
and develop computational tools for mission planning and multi-agent
decision-making under uncertainty. Constraint programming and
optimisation techniques will be at the centre of the research.
You will be part of a team with the principal investigator and another
researcher in WBS. You must have a PhD in Operational Research or a
related discipline. You will need knowledge of modelling and solving
decision making real-life problems using constraint programming and/or
stochastic optimization techniques. You must have experience of
agent-based modelling, constraint programming and software development
skills. Furthermore, you must be able to publish in peer reviewed
academic journals and conference proceedings and be able to present at
national and international conferences.
