Understanding the Journals Industry, 5th March 2009, London
Are you new to the journals industry and would just like to understand how
it all fits together? Have you been in the industry in an operational role
for a little while but still feel that are gaps in your knowledge?
If so, why not come along to our “Understanding the Journals Industry”
course? It is designed to give you a solid overview of the whole industry
and to teach you about the supply chain from author to reader. Fully
understanding the business you are in will give you more confidence in your
role and will improve your ability to do your job.
When we delivered the course in September, all the delegates who attended
said it was relevant to them and would recommend it to others.
Other feedback included:
--“I really enjoyed the course and for someone like me, who is in their
first few months in the industry it was excellent and I would highly
recommend”
--very informative and interesting"

opportunity to reflect on daily work"
