In New Zealand we have http://nzresearch.org.nz/, which is shaping up
very well. All the universities (and some polytechnics) now have
repositories up and running and are feeding Marsden-tagged (= funder
mandated research ontology) into it. This means that you can get a feed
of all research publications in a field, nation-wide. While there are
some minor quibbles, the feeds are great:

There is also a completely meaningless (but useful for drumming up
