Yes, I have $STARLINK_DIR to /data/software/star
I think it might be related to an old version also existing in /star
[phirst@hahalua ~]% ldd $GAIA_DIR/gaia_wish | fgrep libcat
libcat4.0.so => /star/lib/libcat4.0.so (0x00002af6cda24000)
so maybe it's picking up the wrong version based on the existence of a
likely looking /star (I noticed some of the startup scripts check for
that) despite STARLINK_DIR pointing someplace else...
I'll get that symlink removed and try again...
