CSAE Communications Officer
Grade 7: in the range £28,839 - £35,469

The Centre for the Study of African Economies at the Department of
Economics, University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a full-time
Communications Officer for three years in the first instance, starting
immediately. This post will be co-funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation and the Department for International Development.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- A strong Masters degree in Economics or a related Social Science
discipline;
- Demonstrable quantitative and qualitative research experience;
- Relevant media experience and the capacity to communicate (both in
written form and verbally) technical economics knowledge to wider audiences;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as
interpersonal and academic presentation skills;
- The ability to work on one’s initiative and also as an effective
team-player;
- Experience of project coordination and events organisation.
