At Edge Hill University we are currently reviewing the way we offer training and support to students in common ICT packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel) and in information skills (e.g. searching the library catalogue, searching for journals, searching online databases). We are keen to find out how other HE libraries provide ongoing support students can access if they need additional help (e.g. drop in sessions, running scheduled training courses, online tutorials, 1-to-1's, etc) and the pros and cons of each. If you are willing to share your experiences I would very much like to here from you.
