Hi Carl,
Sounds grand that we work together.
This one is meant to review progress since 1997 Action Plan, promoting inclusive education (leading to AEP and BPS position statements) and look to the way forward.
We hoped to have one session on Social Inclusion: which is different but linked: within the day.
EPsforInclusion has held about 20 Seminars, all very interactive and generally informal, getting attendances from 20 to 60 people.
Who shall we invite to contribute? The day will probably cost £20 and workshop presenters get £50 bursary.
I am senior EP in Derbyshire. Where are you?
Keith

Hi Keith
How does this seminar relate to the Social Inclusion Seminar that took
place at the London BPS Office on the 17th October? There was a children
and families workshop that met for part of the day (I think there were
nine of us in the group, only one person from an educational setting).
The day was chaired by David Morris. The other main leaders of the day
were Mark Hayward and Fabian Davies. Fabian Davies and Lynn McDonald ran
the Children and Families workshop.
Fabian was keen for the participants in the Children and Families
Workshop to meet up again before next year, so probably in February 2009
I guess.
Would it make sense to link up between the two groups? Any thoughts? Do
you need to know more?
Carl

Educational Psychologists for Inclusion Seminar
Monday 30th March 09
London BPS Office
Dear EP Colleagues,
At this Seminar we hope to look at good practice, how far have we come
since 1997. It will be fairly informal, low cost, with a modest lunch.
Put the date in your diary.
