Hello,
I have now added 32-bit Linux and 10.4 OSX (so Tiger) pre-compiled
releases.
While testing the 32-bit release we discovered the joys of pre-compiled
releases. Namely, that the ssl (Secure Sockets Layer) library on the
compiling machine was 0.9.8 and on the test machine was 0.9.7, so the code
fell over. Fortunately, this library was only needed by some Python
module called urllib2, and we only used that in one spot, so we managed to
work around it. But other libraries could easily cause similar problems.
