Hi All
We've identified a similar problem to Stephen's (and are also
comparative newcomers to Blackboard, so please forgive us if this has
already been answered.) We want to conceal marks from students until
they've been second marked. We've worked out how to stop students from
accessing the first mark in the gradebook, but if the student clicks on
the "click OK to review the results" button, the first mark is still
displayed on the "Review Assignments" screen. Which rather defeats the
object of hiding it in the Gradebook.
Does anyone know how to turn the display of the mark off at this point?
I realise we could set the item to become unavailable after the
deadline, but we'd still like the students to be able to see that they
had submitted their work. We're using version 7.2.383.23 if that's any
help.
Thanks
Julian

Subject: My Grades
Hi everyone,
This is my first post to this list so forgive me if I am asking a
question which is already answered somewhere...I can't find it if it is.
My question concerns Academic Suit 8 and it's Learning System. Is there
anyway to 'adaptively release' grades in the student 'My Grades' area?
For example a colleague wants to encourage students to complete a
student survey and he has asked if this could trigger the release of
grades (for course work components) in the My Grades area. In other
words, the default setting is that grades are not available and after
completing the survey they do become available. I can see how it is
possible to manually turn on/off grades in the My Grades area but this
effects the entire student membership of the course.
Any suggestions would be welcomed
Yours
Steve
