Introduction to Stata by Prof. Tim Collier on 17th November 2008, London
This one day course aims to give a basic introduction to Stata for
people with no previous experience of Stata but wish to go on to use it
for research purposes. This course will introduce the Stata working
environment, demonstrate how to load data from a variety of sources
(e.g. Excel) and then teach the fundamentals of data checking,
processing and management. Some commands for producing simple summaries
will be introduced. We will also introduce Stata's extensive online
help facility, so enabling participants to go on learning after the
course.
For: Statisticians and researchers who have not used Stata previously.

Consultancy Skills by Roland Caulcutt, Dr. Julie Bullen and Philip

A highly participative workshop for statisticians who wish to improve

non-statistical issues that can undermine effective consultancy.
