Senior Biostatistician - UK Based
Excellent Rate / Hour - Dependant on Experience

Job Summary:
Working with a very highly respected client, who are based in the UK. You will assist in statistical activities related to:
- Clinical and non-clinical studies
- CSRs, publications and presentations
- In-house decision-making
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Draft statistical text for study concept documents and protocols (study design, endpoints, sample size, methods for analysis)
* Draft statistical analysis plans
* Draft templates for tables, listings and graphs
* Draft SDF dataset specifications
* Assist in the review of key study-related documents produced by other functions (e.g. CRFs, Data Management Plans etc)
* Write, test, validate and execute software programs to produce SDF datasets and tables, listings and graphs (mostly statistical analysis outputs, some descriptive outputs) for inclusion within CSRs, ISS / ISE, publications and other communications
* Assist in the production of flash reports
* Draft statistical text for CSRs, clinical publications and other communications
* Contribute to statistical review and QC of CSRs, clinical publications and other communications
* Interface with outsourcing partners and vendors
* Assist in the review of Client Policies, SOPs and other controlled documents
* Assist with study and systems audits by Client CQA and external bodies
* Provide input to and participate in intra-departmental and global Biostatistics meetings
* Stay abreast of latest developments in the field of statistics in drug development and contribute to scientific advances in the field
* Promote and communicate statistical awareness and the role of the Biostatistics department (internal/external; scientific/process)
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of Global Biostatistics
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
* MS/MSc or equivalent in Statistics or other subject with high statistical content
* Statistical Analysis
* Communication of statistical information (written and oral)
* Statistical Methodology
* English
