THE NIHR RESEARCH DESIGN SERVICE FOR THE WEST MIDLANDS (KEELE HUB)
The Primary Care Musculoskeletal Research Centre at Keele has recently
been awarded the status of Arthritis Research Campaign National Primary
Care Centre, and is also funded by the National Institute for Health
Research to provide the North West Midlands spoke of the Research Design
Service.
SENIOR LECTURER IN BIOSTATISTICS
Starting Salary: Grade 9 £46,278
The Centre has a large and dynamic research programme in Pain and
Osteoarthritis, and a commitment to develop research capacity through its
involvement with the West Midlands Research Design Service. We now wish to
appoint a Senior lecturer in Biostatistics who would be interested in
working with an established group of biostatisticians to develop our
programme of health modelling, in both methodological and applied
research, and also be the be the lead advisor for statistical methods in
the Keele Hub of the West Midlands Research Design Service. The post
holder will be based at the ARC National Primary Care Centre at Keele,
working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to:
1) Contribute to academic leadership in statistical research methods and
techniques, for the range of studies being undertaken within the joint
pain and spinal pain programmes of the Arthritis Research Campaign
National Primary Care Centre.
2) Provide methodological support and guidance in the area of quantitative
research to clinicians wishing to access the West Midlands Regional Design
Service.
