Dear all,
I am doing my Ph.d. on brain connectivity in fMRI data and I would like
to ask if somebody, who does an interesting research in this area, could
provide me an opportunity to come and cooperate for a few months
(staring from January or February). I am at the beginning of the second
year of my postgraduate studies, but I have already learnt and practiced
quite a lot in this field.
I graduated from Biomedical engineering master’s program (Brno
University of Technology, Czech Republic); therefore, I have quite a
strong background in signal and image processing.
I am especially focused on these areas:
- evaluation of functional connectivity by multivariate methods (ICA,
PCA, PLS etc.),
- optimizing number of components,
- sorting components,
- evaluation of effective connectivity (SEM, non-linear dynamic systems
- DCM),
(I am already rather experienced in all the mentioned topics.)
Further, I am experienced in using analysis SW: SPM, GIFT, PLS, FMRILAB.
My related skills are: programming in Matlab and little bit in C++.
My other interests are diffusion tensor imaging, pattern recognition,
and classification methods.
I am searching for more experience in fMRI brain connectivity analysis
and I hope that this email could reach experts in this conference, who
could consequently give me a favour and contact me.
Best regards,
Martin Havlicek.
