(wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, E 13 TV-L), non-tenure track at the
Interdisciplinary Center for Science and Technology Studies. Two years
with possible renewal up to a total of five years, beginning February
2009. AOS: philosophy of science with a special emphasis on the natural
sciences. AOC: philosophy of nature, history of science and the ability
to teach broadly oriented classes in philosophy, both on a Bachelor and
Master level. Teaching load: 2 seminar courses/semester, preferably in
German. Ph.D. prior to application. Experience in interdisciplinary
cooperation is an asset. Usual administrative duties evenly split
between the Center and the Department of Philosophy. Collaboration in
editorial projects under the direction of Professor Gregor Schiemann is
