It all depends on your size etc,
I have taken blankets home for washing...
And keep them sealed in bags ready to use.
It's so much easier than fighting finance etc
To get it all sorted out.
Previously at a larger place,
We sent them out for a service wash as required...
If they are in regular use,
Which I hope not,
Then I am sure that there are contact companies that will do them.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] first aid rooms
Good Morning all
I wonder if you would mind sharing custom and practice!
We have a number of first aid rooms around the sites and recently have
been
asked about the provision of blankets for use therein.
given that these may sit around collecting dust and spiders for the best
part
of the year...can I ask what other institutes and workplaces do?
one member of staff offered to return the blanket to OH each year for
washing! (gosh all that nurse training and they think we are a laundry
service!!!!!)
I thought about disposable space blankets but I dont really want to go
down
that line as they keep cold in if the person is cold I recall learning
from my
dark distant past.
Any suggestions?
Jacqui
