Hi
I have come from a background of the full pre employment questions for
all prospective employees who will have influence over vulnerable client
groups where sometimes you have to read between the lines, not sure if a
3 questions would give you that opportunity and no one is likely to
declare or perhaps even realise that they may have a negative/damaging
influence on these client groups from a psychological perspective.
All best
Sara

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Fitness To Teach - PEHQ
Dear ALL
Our team is currently revising it's PEHQ and looking towards a 3
questioned
approach as devised by Greta Thornbory. However, some of our clients are
potential lecturers and teaching staff who would fall within the Fitness
to
Teach Guinelines.
It has been suggested that the question 'Do you have a medical condition
that may effect your ability to perform the proposed post?' could be
added to
the existing 3.
Do others that perforn PEHA on teaching staff ask more specific
questions to
cover the Fitness To Teach guidance, or would the propsed question with
a
signed declaration suffice? If you're out there Greta I would really
value your
advice!
Thanks
Michael
