CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Issue on Challenges and Future Trends in Pervasive
Grid
(http://www.sersc.org/journals/IJMUE/)
International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous
Engineering - SERSC
Scope
This special issue brings the integration of two important
subjects of nowadays researches (Grid and Pervasive
Computing) which originated the Pervasive Grid. Pervasive
Grid stands for hardware and software infrastructures or
space/environment that provides proactive, autonomic,
trustworthy, and inexpensive access to pervasive resource
sharing capabilities anywhere, anytime and for anyone.
Such resources can be either high performance clusters or
smart devices such as sensors, appliances, robots etc.
The aim of this special issue is to present innovative
research
results, methods and techniques related to Pervasive Grid.
The contributions will include
articles on new advances, research challenges and future
trends in Pervasive Grid.
Topics
Areas of interest for this special issue include, but are
not limited to the following topics:
» Cluster computing
» High performance computing
» Grid computing
» Ubiquitous/pervasive networks
» Service-oriented computing
» Peer-to-peer computing
» Pervasive computing
» Mobile computing
» Grid and pervasive related applications
» Autonomic computing
» Opportunistic grid
» Mobile peer-to-peer grid
» Ad hoc grid
