Leeds Trinity and All Saints offers a high quality learning experience
to students on the edge of the cosmopolitan city of Leeds. We are now
looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join the
institution in the following post:
Salary £34,793 to £38,019 per annum pro rata
We are looking for someone with experience, energy and enthusiasm to
join the Centre for Journalism team and work with us to maintain and
develop the standard of our provision, to enhance our reputation and
to ensure that we continue to provide a quality experience for
students.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver modules in TV
news production, both studio and location based, predominantly at
postgraduate level. They will be required to act as news editor during
the period of daily news production with the PG trainee journalists,
support and maintain links with the BJTC and have links with the
broadcast industry.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced broadcast
journalist/programme maker with some experience of mentoring or
training journalists new to broadcasting. They must be familiar with
current news room production including editing systems and studio
operations.
