Dear Colleagues
We are writing to follow up on the launch of the Critical Studies in Television website (www.criticalstudiesintelevision.com). The site is updated twice weekly with information on new TV books, Calls for Papers and invitations to forthcoming conferences. We would also ask you to pass on information about the site to your students. They will find it a valuable resource, particularly at essay and exam time, as it not only provides a comprehensive listing of research, archive and broadcasting news, links to policy documents and broadcasting companies, but also contains announcements of research days, workshops and seminars that will be of interest to them, along with complete listings of TV studies courses in England, Ireland and North America.
If you have anything you would like to post on the site, please send it to us. We have also started a google group called CST online, which we encourage you, your colleagues and students to sign up for. By becoming a member of this group you will have the facility to directly contact other members of the TV studies world. We already have over 50 members with another 200 invitations pending.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with feedback, information or comments.
With best wishes
Kim and Janet
