Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and
suitably qualified information professional to join a team providing
library & information services to staff within the Trust.
You will manage all aspects of the Trust’s library service provision
for your sites: answering enquiries, training & supporting users,
promoting the service, and developing and exploiting the collections.
Although you will be based at St James’s University Hospital where you
will work with Leeds University library staff to further develop our
joint NHS-HE library service, you will provide senior professional
support for Trust libraries at other sites including Chapel Allerton
Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. You will also be involved in a
number of cross-organisational projects as part of the ongoing
implementation of a citywide NHS library development strategy
You should have at least two years’ experience in a library or
information service, preferably in the public sector. You will need to
have excellent communication skills, well developed IT skills, and must
be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
