Our Information Managers are dedicated to ensuring that students and staff have access to the very best learning resources - and that they know how to make the most of them. We currently have two roles available, both of which will require a qualification in library/information management as well as post-qualification professional experience in a similar role, ideally within an academic library. Your flexible, adaptable approach to your work and confident ICT skills will allow you to adopt your new role with ease.
Post one: Schools Liaison Co-ordinator & User Education
You will take a leading role in co-ordinating and delivering user education and information skills training as well as acting as Subject Librarian for the Schools of English and Creative Studies, Historical and Cultural Studies and Social Sciences. Ref: 10/08/1842.
Post Two: Digital Resources
You will have responsibility for managing and developing digital resources, access to electronic services and web-based resources as well as acting as Subject Librarian for the School of Science and the Environment. Candidates must have a good technical knowledge of web-based technology and the digital information environment, including experience of designing and developing web applications. Ref: 10/08/1791.
