Hello,
We've always had a problem with our Mac users who use Safari to download
articles from ScienceDirect. However, if they click CTRL and choose the
'Download Linked File' option, this usually works. If they are able to
right-click, the same option appears.
Using Firefox on my Mac, I've never had a problem accessing articles from
ScienceDirect.
So, although it's different for Macs, I wouldn't say that it was impossible
to get the articles, just a different method that's needed, depending on the
browser, not necessarily the operating system.
