Dear all,
Just giving a bit of extra publicity to the event I've organised for the
BA Festival. It's free, I'm told my speakers are pretty engaging, and
there is already press interest...
Thanks!

Getting the Measure of Your Genes
The human genome project was published in 2001, but initially only a few
genes associated with human disease were identified. However, recent
technologies have revolutionised our ability to discover such genes.
This event focuses on key discoveries of this exciting new era in
medical research, and its consequences for human health and lifestyles
in the coming decades.
Monday 8 September, 1330 - 1530
Lecture Theatre B, ULRB, University of Liverpool
FREE!
