Subject: [politicsofautism] BCODP (UKCODP) Sack their staff and close there doors for good!!!
Just been informed of this news by Steve Garby. Mike Higgins just confirmed it too me.
Is this a loss to DAN, DPO's and our allies and friends and all of the 'gassroots' disabled peoples' movement?
What will now raise from the ashes of the BCODP? A stronger DPO basic human and civil rights campaigning group/movement?
http://www.bcodp.org.uk (No news on the UKDPC (BCODP) website about their closure yet!!!)
Just found this on BBC Ouch Discussion/Messasge Board!!!
UKDPC’s Sold Out :- http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbouch/F2322273?thread=5844262
It says that UKDPC (BCODP) are moving their offices from Derby to London and sacked all their staff in Derby.
Is there a 'hidden-agenda' and are UKDPC (BCODP) selling-out and moving into SCOPE's premises with Andy Rickell at their side again as their 'leader'? (OH NO!!!!)
We all remember when Andy Rickell 'sold-out' and the way the 'grassroots' Disablede Peoples' movement reacted to this. Will I remind people what happend that day in 'our' history and how 'we' reacted:-
