A friend of mine has just discovered that current research suggests
that Neanderthal males had contralto voices, rather than the deeper
ones now common in H Sap males.
He says that this means that Neanderthal females talked in high
I would think that the females would have talked in normal soprano
voices, but cannot find any research proof.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
