Hi Sarah,
Right/left, fwd/back, up/down and pitch, roll and yaw using Display and
reorient images is enough. Altering x, y and z will change the voxel
dimensions. Using check reg to match each image to the templates/a
priori maps you will use for segmentation (eg. T1.mnc or grey.nii) will
achieve an optimal registration/starting position for segmentation.
Best,
Dara

Subject: [SPM] BASIC! - Reorientation of Images
Dear All
This is a very basic question, but my colleagues and I are not sure of
the exact process required for AC-PC line realignment
So far we have
1) Display image
2) Pitch, Roll, Yaw as necessary
3) Reorient Images
Are we missing a step, re putting co-ordinates in the x, y, z boxes?
The process seemed to be working okay and segmentation was fine, but
there seems to be a query as to whether this additional step is
necessary..........?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated by all
Thanks
Sarah
