Hey folks,
Dunno if I should suggest this, but why not put the items in the
repository with minimal metadata - which could form the basis of, but
not be, a full SWAP record? I guess that would accelerate throughput,
and then when you felt inclined, automatic tools were developed, or the
use case for the enhanced metadata became apparent - and I suspect it
will - craft the metadata records to the prefered level of metadata quality?
That is to say, in the current climate where quantity seems to have more
impact than quality, maybe depositing the stuff is more important than
the description of said stuff.
