Wednesday, September 17 will be the start of a new Disability
Studies lecture series sponsored by the Institute on
Disability at Temple University.

“Bad Education: Crip Representation and the Limits of Tolerance.”
Contemporary crip representations, particularly in film,
expose and critique discourses of tolerance. What might
antisocial theory have to offer Disability Studies and how
might crip theory be more central to larger contemporary
critiques of identity, neoliberalism, and futurity?
The lecture will begin at noon in the President's Conference
Room in 1810 Liacouras Walk at Temple University in
Philadelphia. Further information about the lecture and a
