Our core theme is centred on the transformations that are taking place in the way we
think, work and communicate as a result of the pervasive digital learning environment that
has become so much a part of our own, and our students’, lives.
The Conference aims to explore the following strands in the context of role change and
working differently:
? Innovative partnerships and relationships that are emerging to enhance e-learning
support and experiences
? The changing way that staff engage with their users for example via social software,
web services, personalized learning, Library 2.0 and the implications for practice
? New roles and skills emerging as a result of the implementation of technologies in
the physical, and/or virtual learning environment
? Skills development of our users in a digital world and the impact on our ways of
working
